On Playground

1. On the hopscotch ,go and stand on an odd number.

2. Stand on a four sided shape. How many are there?
What is the name of your shape?

3. On the painted grid of shapes, name the shape in say, A3.

4. Painted number snake Throw two dice. Count on the snake the total number and record.

5. Alphabet snail - Go and stand on the 15th letter. (Adult encourage child to choose different numbers)

6. Teacher/helper to give times to be made on the clock using bamboo sticks as clock hands.

7. Estimate/Guess which tree in the quiet area is widest. Measure labeled trees with tape measures to check.

8. Measure the distance between the two cones on the pink lines in the top playgound with a trundle wheel.

9. Fill in graph to show how many concrete stepping stones of each colour. (rub out for next group)

On Quad

10. Estimate/Guess which cup of water holds the most. Measure to check.

11. Estimate. Guess which container of sand is heaviest. Weigh in bucket scales to check.

12. Count branches on the tree marked with red ribbon.

13. How wide is 1 red wall panel, use a l metre stick to measure. What shape is it?

14. How many robbie right angles are on one panel?
